7th Meeting of the Historical Sites Grimaldis: a strengthened scheme to facilitate access to monaco-ville
To improve access to the Rocher during the 7th Meeting of the Historical Sites Grimaldis, which will take place on 13 and 14 June, the X1 line will run exceptionally this weekend.
Works carried out by SNCF Réseau will result, on Saturday 13 June, in an interruption to rail traffic between Nice and Monaco. Between Monaco and Vintimille, train services will be reduced*.
Visitors who choose to travel to Monaco by car this weekend are invited to use the Salines car park. To enable them to then easily reach Monaco-Ville, in particular on the occasion of the 7th Meeting of Historic Monegasque Grimaldi Sites, a direct line between the Salines car park and the Rock, similar to the X1 line, will operate exceptionally:
- Saturday 13 June, from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm
- Sunday 14 June, from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
As throughout the year, users of the Salines car park will be given 10 free travel passes on the Monegasque Bus Company network, also valid on this line.
*Detailed information regarding rail timetables and alternative transport arrangements is available on the SNCF Voyageurs website.
