Drop off your Christmas tree free of charge at a collection point

The SMA (Monegasque Sanitation Company), in collaboration with the Prince's Government and Monaco City Hall, are once again running a free Christmas tree collection service. This operation will take place from 26 December 2025 to 26 January 2026.

To ensure that Christmas trees don't end up discarded in the Principality's streets or cluttering up the rubbish bins, please use these collection points:

• Place Saint-Nicolas
• Place Sainte-Dévote
• Promenade Honoré II (in front of the Jardins d'Apolline)
• Allée Saint Jean-Paul II
• Albert Ier esplanade (opposite the Casino supermarket)
• Boulevard du Larvotto (before the junction by rue du Portier)
• Place des Moulins
• Pont Sainte-Dévote (the upper entrance to the SNCF station)
• Place Saint-Charles
• Boulevard de Belgique (next to the Bosio bus stop)
• Avenue Hector Otto (Escorial)
• Boulevard d’Italie (Testimonio II)

Reminder of instructions:

• All used Christmas trees are accepted, whether they are flocked or not
• Collection points are strictly reserved for used Christmas trees
• It is prohibited to leave trees on public roads outside of the designated areas provided for this purpose
