European Heritage Days Monaco will be held this  Sunday 5 October 2025. It's an opportunity to discover or rediscover the country's cultural heritage.

In keeping with the theme of this year’s 30th edition, "Architectural Heritage", the Principality will be holding various events showcasing its diverse architecture and how it has evolved through history.

On Saturday 4 October, visitors can join a guided tour beyond Monaco’s borders, including a trip to Villa Eilenroc, a neoclassical villa on the Cap d’Antibes peninsula.

Then on Sunday 5 October, some 30 buildings and institutions will open their doors to the public for the day, offering rare insights into the Principality’s cultural heritage.

The day will feature a variety of activities, including guided tours of work sites, and children’s workshops at Les Studios de la Costa where younger visitors can learn all about the concepts of space and design. There will also be architectural walks, highlighting both famous landmarks and lesser-known buildings.

This year, the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Heritage Institute will be welcoming Jean-Philippe HUGRON, architectural historian, journalist, and author of Guide d’architecture Monaco : Beausoleil – Roquebrune-Cap Martin (2021). Making his first guest appearance at the event, he will be leading two walks: “Art Nouveau, Art Deco, New Modernities” and “Monaco and the Tradition of Originality”.
