PRESS RELEASE

This service, developed jointly by the Digital Services Department (DSN) and the Department of Employment (DT), has been available since 23 March 2026 on the Monguichet.mc portals for individuals and professionals.

Until now, termination of an employment contract in the Principality could only take place through resignation or dismissal. Since 12 March 2026, a new mechanism has been introduced: mutually agreed termination, allowing the employer and the employee to agree jointly on the terms governing the end of the employment contract.

To support the implementation of this new framework, a dedicated online service has been developed, enabling users to complete all procedures online.

In particular, the service allows users to:

  • Submit a mutually agreed termination
  • Track the progress of their application in real time
  • Communicate with the Labour Inspectorate throughout the processing of the case
  • Receive the formal approval of mutually agreed termination application

Accessible to both employers and private-sector employees, this online service ensures a simplified, secure and transparent handling of applications.
