The aim of vaccination is to give an individual specific protection against a defined infectious agent.

In Monaco, 3 vaccines are compulsory. They should be complemented by 8 others strongly recommended by the medical profession.

Compulsory :

  • Diphteria
  • Tetanus
  • Poliomyelitis

Recommended :

  • Whooping-cough
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Haemophilus influenzae
  • Pneumococcus
  • Méningococcus C
