19th Monaco International Organ Festival

The new season is here, and the Monaco International Organ Festival is inviting the public to come and learn more about the heritage of the Principality’s organs.

Organ recital by Kali Malone at Sacré-Coeur church, an Organ and Choir concert by the French Army Choir and Johann Vexo at the Cathedral and Trumpet & Organ recital by Romain Leleu and Ghislain Leroy at Saint-Charles church.

The guest artists will be performing a repertoire stretching from Baroque music to contemporary works, as well as improvised pieces. Solo organ, concertante organ and accompanying organ: three different worlds which will help audiences to appreciate the diversity of Monaco’s organs.

Programme:

  • Saturday 12 October 2024 – ORGAN RECITAL D’ORGUE by Kali Malone, an up-and-coming young composer and organist who will perform her recital on the Sacré-Cœur church organ
  • Friday 18 October 2024 – AN ORGAN AND CHOIR with the French Army Choir, special formation of the Republican Guard, directed by Emilie Fleury with Johann Vexo playing the grand organ at Monaco Cathedral
  • Saturday 19 October 2024 – TRUMPET & ORGAN by Romain LELEU, trumpet and Ghislain LEROY, organ at Saint-Charles church

Concerts begin at 8.30 pm
