Come along to the Monaco Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology at 6 pm on 6 November for a lecture on "Prince Albert I establishes the Institute of Human Palaeontology in Paris in 1910: a foundational act for global prehistory" by Anna Echassoux.

Managing Director of the Institute of Human Palaeontology, Doctor of Palaeontology. A specialist in the study of the relationship between the first hominids and their animal environment, Anna Echassoux has studied some of the world’s oldest palaeontological sites in Ethiopia, China, Georgia and southern Europe. Since 2021, she has led a palaeontological research project in Fejej in south-west Ethiopia, a key region for understanding human evolution over the last 4 million years.
