A manga comic about digital violence on 25 November 2023
To mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights unveiled a campaign on the theme of "digital violence against women and girls". To raise awareness among young people, the campaign is based around the publication of a special edition of the Blitz manga produced in partnership with Shibuya Productions.
The Blitz manga follows the daily lives of teenagers involved in their high school’s chess club. But in this episode, Riko's life is turned upside down when a trusted friend leaks photos of Riko that were supposed to be private. Between shame and guilt, find out how the characters in the manga deal with this situation.
