All Monegasque nationals travelling abroad outside France must carry a passport. This document must be valid at least six months after the expected return date (as required by a large number of countries).

Prior to any travel, it is advisable to consult the official websites of the ministries of foreign affairs of the countries you wish to visit to find out what conditions and entry and stay formalities apply, such as visas or vaccines.

Before travelling abroad, Monegasque nationals are encouraged to register on line on the "Fil d’Ariane" platform of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and to obtain information about the country they wish to visit.

It should be noted that travellers are solely responsible for their decision to travel to a foreign country.
