Join us on 21 November for the draw, which will be held by the mother of Monegasque pilot Charles Leclerc, and for an ephemeral exhibition, from 2pm to 7pm, at the Hotel Hermitage, featuring embroideries made by members of the "De Fil en Aiguille" Needlework Association, some of which will be offered for sale in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation, as well as creations by embroiderers from Burundi who are selling their pieces to raise funds for children orphaned by AIDS.

The "De Fil en Aiguille" Needlework Association, which brings together embroidery enthusiasts at the Foyer Sainte Dévote, is offering raffle tickets for a silk embroidery of Charles Leclerc's Ferrari 2022, created by Mr Jean-Marie Rabourdin. It took 283 hours of work and 1,130 metres of embroidery thread to complete. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Princess Grace Foundation, which helps sick children in hospitals.

Tickets are on sale for €3 each until 15 November at the following establishments

  • La Riviera (Pastry shop on Boulevard des Moulins)
  • Mezze Due (Condamine Market)
  • Maison des Pâtes (Condamine Market)
  • Le Comptoir (Condamine Market)
  • Santo Gelato (Condamine Market)
  • Les Grands Chais Monégasques (Rue Baron de Sainte-Suzanne)
  • Gelateria (Place St Dévote)

The Société des Bains de Mer has also taken part in this initiative by purchasing from the association an exceptional embroidery representing Mucha's poster "Cléo de Mérode", made in 1897 for the SBM by Mrs Sylvie Deschamps, Maître d'art at the Grands Ateliers du Bégonia d'Or, in Rochefort, which will also be exhibited on this occasion to honour these crafts of art and passion.
