NEWS RELEASE

Call for projects open until 23 October as part of EWWR (European Week for Waste Reduction), which is running from 18 to 24 November 2024.

The Department of the Environment has launched the 6th Monaco EWWR. The main theme this year is "Food waste", but all actions that link to the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) or clean-up initiatives are welcome!

Want to take part? Head over to the Europe-wide website (ewwr.eu) to register your action! Note the date, time and location of your action, and indicate whether it is open to the public or just for your organisation.

Register before 23 October to be included in the official communications campaign.

Latecomers can still register their actions until midnight on 6 November!

Remember to keep it official: make sure that you have the right permissions and any necessary insurance, and have taken measures to ensure public safety. If you want to compete in the European competition, tick the “European Award” box when registering.

A shared document is available to help organise, swap details and learn more about all of the actions planned in Monaco. Make sure yours is on the list, and check it out for more ideas and local initiatives.

Share information about your action using the tools available here: ewwr.eu/take-part/#action_developer. Don’t forget to use the hashtags #SERDMonaco, #EWWR and #EWWR2024.
