Espace Lamartine opens its doors to 16-23 year olds
After three years of refurbishment work, the building at 19 Boulevard Princesse Charlotte is finally reopening as a leisure and activity centre covering more than 1,000m2 and open to Monegasques, residents and schoolchildren in the Principality, aged 16 and over.
Open Day for 16-23 year olds
Saturday, 23 March 2024 from 12pm to 9.30pm
- Activity demonstrations, sports challenges, games, dances, contests and more, plus there will be a DJ livening up the evening and you'll get a tour of the centres many facilities:
- The creative studio (drawing, painting, handicrafts, etc.)
- The computer room
- The conference room with a stage and audio equipment (preparation and rehearsal of presentations, public speaking training, etc.)
- The singing room (for singing, playing instruments together, etc.)
The day's programme
- A free tour of the building from 12pm to 5pm
- 12pm-2pm: refreshments and a meet-and-greet with the activity leaders, a free tour of the building
- 2pm-5pm: activity demonstrations (1 session every 30 minutes) sports challenges, orienteering games, cardio drumming, rhythmic fitness, line dancing and DIY activities
- 5pm-6.30pm: games, contests, board games
- From 6.30pm: a DJ session, plus lots of surprises!

Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm.
A wide range of physical activites, leisure activities and workshops, designed to keep the public entertained, fit and connected, will be available in the specially equipped rooms and outdoor spaces. Espace Lamartine's activity leaders offer plenty of sporting activities, such as fitness, gentle gym, yoga and pilates classes, Nordic walking, aqua relaxation, and muscle toning. Numerous conferences and various workshops are being held (reading, computing, cooking, singing, DIY, etc.) along with handicraft and leisure activities (board games, karaoke, escape games, festive evenings, competitions, outings, trips, etc.).
The entire range of entertainment is available to all users.
There is also a café area (with a range of games and table football) and many more rooms available to members: a singing room, a conference room, a computer room, a creative studio, and a reading room.
