Get ready: the fourth Mozart in Monaco Festival is about to begin!
For its fourth outing, the Mozart in Monaco Festival will present seven concerts and will join forces with the Opéra de Monte-Carlo for two evenings of opera.
The highlights include a focus on the clarinet led by Pierre Génisson, and a free rein given to talented young musicians, showcasing violinist Bohdan Luts and pianist Alexandra Dovgan, conducted by Kazuki Yamada. The festival also features a programme blending baroque and classical genres, conducted by the great Dutch conductor Ton Koopman, two Happy Hour Musical events performed by the musicians of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra in a chamber music formation, as well as a concert for young people exploring Mozart’s youth in Italy. This year’s festival also includes a Candlelight Concert of Sacred Music, which will be held in Monaco Cathedral, conducted by the young Italian conductor Diego Ceretta, accompanied by the soprano Emőke Baráth, which will offer an opportunity to enjoy some of Mozart’s religious works.
