Grand Parade of the Circus and Open-Air Circus Show: access and traffic arrangements
As part of the 46th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, on Saturday, 13 January 2024, there will be a Grand Parade through the city starting in Fontvieille at 2pm followed by an Open-Air Circus Show on the Place du Palais at around 2.45pm.
There will be lots of decorated floats, artists in costume, elephants, horses, the festival orchestra, crazy clowns who will provide the musical entertainment for the Parade, and the little tourist train that will set off from the Chapiteau de Fontvieille at 2pm to reach the Place du Palais at 2.30pm on Saturday, 13 January 2024.
A huge buffet will await the elephants, and there’s going to be a unique open-air show to delight all ages.
The audience will be treated to a breathtaking performance as a tightrope walker crosses the Place du Palais at a height of 25 metres over a distance of 80 metres.
Then, for the very first time in Europe, a troupe of artists from the United States will be performing the circus's star attraction: flying trapeze under the Monaco sky.
