"Làscia e Piya": community libraries
Community libraries, created by a project to promote the circular economy, enable users to drop off books and borrow those left by other readers in a dedicated location designed by the teams of the Municipal Technical Services.
Princess Antoinette Park:
In addition to general interest books and novels for all ages, the libraries also include a selection of books for younger readers (comics, graphic novels, etc.).
Condamine market:
This community library contains books for a wider readership (novels, essays, poetry, etc.). All of the books were donated at a collection held on Tuesday 21 November at La Condamine Market, during EWWR 2023.
Soon, more libraries dedicated to young children and parents will be created at the Principality’s crèches.
This community initiative is designed forge social connections and create shared moments. It is part of the anti-waste project launched by the Municipal Authority.
