Motorsport events 2025: what road changes are in place?

During the 8th and 9th Monaco E-Prix (3 and 4 May 2025) and the 82nd Monaco Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix (22 to 25 May 2025), the following changes to traffic, parking, pedestrian access and public transport will be introduced in anticipation of this event.

On 3 and 4 May, and from 22 to 25 May, motorists will not be able to drive on:

• Quai des États-Unis
• Route de la Piscine
• Jules Soccal Jetty
• South Dock

On 3 and 4 May, the same restrictions will apply on:

• Boulevard Albert I
• Place du Casino
• Avenue des Citronniers (as far as the entrance to the Métropole car park)
• Avenue Princesse Grace (between Avenue des Spélugues and Boulevard Louis II)
• Avenue J.-F. Kennedy
• Boulevard Louis II
• Avenue de la Madone (between Avenue des Spélugues and Avenue de Grande-Bretagne) 
• Avenue de Monte-Carlo
• Avenue d’Ostende
• Avenue des Spélugues
• Quai Albert I
• Quai Antoine I
• Avenue de la Costa (between number 3 and Avenue d’Ostende)
• Rue Grimaldi (between Place Sainte-Dévote and Rue Princesse Florestine)
• Avenue de la Quarantaine
• Rocher Albert I Tunnel
• Rocher Noghès Tunnel
• Avenue des Papalins (between numbers 13 and 39)
• And between Avenue des Papalins and Avenue Albert II

Also on 3 and 4 May, the one-way system will be reversed on:

• Rue Princesse Florestine (between Rue Suffren Reymond and Rue Grimaldi)
• Rue de Millo (between Rue Saige and Rue Terrazzani
• Avenue du Port (between Avenue de la Quarantaine and the roundabout on Place d’Armes
• Rue Suffren Reymond (between Rue Louis Notari and Rue Princesse Florestine)
• Rue Saige
• Rue Terrazzani

Finally, again on 3 and 4 May, two-way traffic will be in place on Rue Grimaldi (between Rue Suffren Reymond and Place d’Armes).

From 30 April to 4 May, motorists will not be able to park on:

• Rue Princesse Antoinette 
• Avenue de la Madone

On 3 and 4 May, as well as from 22 to 25 May, the same restrictions will apply on:

• Quai des États-Unis
• Route de la Piscine
• Jules Soccal Jetty
• South Dock

From 2 to 4 May (times may vary) it will also not be possible to park on:

• Avenue de Grande-Bretagne (between Avenue de la Madone and Square Winston Churchill)
• Rue Princesse Florestine

• Boulevard Rainier III (downhill direction, between numbers 4 and 10)
• Rue Suffren Reymond
• Avenue Henri Dunant
• Rue du Rocher

• Rue Baron Sainte-Suzanne (covering all of the motorcycle parking spaces in front of number 3) 
• Place du Casino

On 3 and 4 May, and from 22 to 25 May, pedestrians without an admission ticket or a pass will not be able to use:

• Quai des États-Unis
• Route de la Piscine
• Jules Soccal Jetty
• South Dock

On 3 and 4 May, the same restrictions will apply on:

• Quai Albert I
• The La Costa stairs
• Avenue de la Costa (between number 3 and Avenue d’Ostende)
• The Sainte-Dévote stairs
• Quai Antoine I
• Avenue Princesse Grace (between Avenue des Spélugues and Boulevard Louis II)
• Boulevard du Larvotto (between the roundabout leading to Avenue de Grande-Bretagne and Rue Louis Aureglia)

On 3 and 4 May, Monegasque Bus Company (CAM) services will be subject to diversion, as explained on the CAM website: www.cam.mc/e-prix-de-monaco.

Electric vehicle charging points will be switched off:

• On Avenue de la Madone from 30 April to 4 May and then from 13 to 30 May
• On Rue Grimaldi from 2 to 4 May and then from 19 to 25 May
• On Rue Louis Notari from 2 to 4 May and then from 19 to 25 May
• On Avenue de la Quarantine from 2 to 4 May and then from 19 to 25 May
• On Quai des États-Unis from 2 to 4 May and then from 19 to 25 May
• On Avenue des Ligures from 3 to 5 May and then from 12 to 30 May
• On Rue Florestine from 13 to 30 May
• On Quai Jean-Charles Rey (charging points located near the Fontvieille sea wall) from 19 to 26 May
