POWHER day on 8 March 2025!
The Women’s Rights Committee will celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March with an event organised in conjunction with its partners.
Called POWHER, the event will take place between 10 am and 8 pm at the Espace Léo Ferré on Saturday 8 March. The theme for 2025 will be the image and representation of women in the media (films, advertising, video games, art, etc.).
At the event, the public will be able to check out some exhibitions, a "gaming" area, a cosplay workshop, an escape game and some performances for all the family.
"The day is designed to be both fun and educational" explains Céline Cottalorda, the Women’s Rights Officer. "We want to show how the image of women has changed over time, and how society is moving towards more equality. We are also keen to communicate important messages while having a good time" she adds.
There will also be other activities to discover on the day.
Entry is free and open to everyone.
