Monaco’s Stamp Issuing Office will release the following stamps for sale on 7th February 2013 :

0,80€ – INTERNATIONAL DOG EXHIBITION

Canine-dentelure

The International Dog Exhibition will take place on 11 and 12 May 2013 and include a special feature on the French Bulldog. Organised by the Société Canine de Monaco under the presidency of Baroness Elisabeth-Ann de Massy, the event is a must for fans of thoroughbred dogs.

The terraces of Monte-Carlo's Casino stand between the building itself and the sea. Studded with palm trees, the terraces offer a splendid view of the coast from Monaco to Bordighera.

The record-breaking crowd of 127,000 spectators in 2012 confirmed the success of Monaco's tournament. Another record achieved last year: Rafael Nadal's 8th consecutive victory. The world's best players will return to the prestigious setting of the Monte-Carlo Country Club to compete from 13 to 21 April 2013.

These stamps will be on sale at the Stamp Issuing Office, at the Museum of Philately and Coinage, at the Principality’s post offices and philatelic counters, and from Monégasque stamp traders and some philatelic sellers in France. They will be available to our subscribers and customers, together with other treasures from the philately programme of the first half of 2013.
