On Wednesday 10 January, a new exit slip road from the A8 motorway in the Nice-Italy direction, junction 58 "Monaco Est", has officially been opened.

 

Around 50,000 people travel to Monaco and the surrounding areas each day. The new slip road will provide additional access to the Principality of Monaco and the towns to the east of the city, relieve traffic congestion through La Turbie and ease traffic congestion on the A500 and the Monaco tunnel.

Restrictions on vehicle, bus and pedestrian traffic are to be expected for the duration of these events.
