The Prince’s Government expands recreational activities in the Principality
The inauguration on Friday 28 March of the Box98 activity centre marks an important step forward in leisure services offered in the Principality.
Just a few months after the tender process launched by the State Property Authority to find an occupant for the site of the former Museum of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco’s Car Collection, located above the Fontvieille Shopping Centre, the new 4,700 square-metre leisure centre offers a range of fun activities, including electric go-karting, a flight simulator, bowling, snooker and karaoke.
To meet strong demand in the Principality, the Prince’s Government also plans to open an entertainment centre in the Saint Antoine mixed development zone in Cap d’Ail. A tender process was launched on 10 January to find an occupant for an over 1,200 square-metre site that will also offer recreational activities for children, teens and adults.
These initiatives illustrate the commitment of the Government and National Council to expand the offer of entertainment and leisure sought by Monegasque youth and families.
