Monaco hosts the final stage of the 111th Tour de France on Sunday 21 July 2024, an individual time trial between the Principality and Nice that could prove decisive for the final victory.

An important showcase for the country, the event will attract thousands of cycling enthusiasts and require significant planning and arrangements in terms of vehicle traffic and public transport.

To provide as much detail as possible about the stage itself and related activities, inform visitors about ways to get to and from Monaco, and allow residents to better plan their trips, the Prince’s Government has launched a special information website:

The site offers maps, practical information on the stage route, schedules, various activities (publicity caravan, events, etc.), transportation solutions for trips to and within the Principality (train, bus, bicycle, personal vehicle/parking) and the impact of the Tour on inner-city mobility. A link is available to download the Citymapper app to make travel even easier.

The "Tour-related events" section, designed for visitors to Monaco, offers ideas on discovering the region and continuing the experience of visiting Monaco beyond the Grande Boucle (Larvotto beach, the wonderful "Turner: a sublime Legacy" summer exhibition, museums, walks and more).

The "Monaco and the Tour de France" section, highlights the country’s close ties with the race – Monaco has hosted the Tour 11 times and been a stage town six times – and cycling in general (in-depth coverage of professional riders who live in the Principality, different cycling events, the MonaBike bicycle sharing service, etc.).
