Workshops, shows and exhibitions to keep children amused during the 2024 winter holidays!

  • Winter holidays at the Oceanographic Museum - from 10/02/2024 to 10/03/2024: During the school holidays, visitors are invited to take on the role of a reporter and discover the North and South Poles through five themed areas, including the unmissable ‘Immersion’ room and its interactive projections.   • Children's workshops at Villa Paloma: The museum and Monaco Philosophical Encounters are teaming up for the first time to give children the chance to explore art and philosophy over a two-day 'Art & Philo' workshop which will be held on two occasions.  Find all information here
  • "Magie 4 you" at the Multimedia Library - 21/02/2024 - 2pm: Magic is full of mystery, and who hasn't dreamt of mastering it at least once in their lifetime? Fred will teach participants simple yet spectacular magic tricks using everyday objects. For ages 6 and over. The show is free, but places are limited, so please book by phone on (+377) 93 15 22 72.   • "Your qualities in colour" at the Multimedia Library - 26/02/2024: This workshop, led by Mi, uses paint, paper and drawing to discover and reveal the qualities of the children taking part.   • "Storytelling" at the Multimedia Library - 27/02/2024 – 10am: A chance for everyone aged 3 and over to delve into the wonderful world of stories. Our librarians will lead everyone on a journey through the stories told. Open to all, free admission. All information here
  • Glass Painting at the Multimedia Library - 28/02/2024 – 2pm: A workshop that combines manga and painting. The technique is simple: an image, a sheet of acetate, and some paint to unleash the talent of each artist. With a little patience, you'll be blown away by the results. For children aged 8 and over.   • •    Race Simulator - Multimedia Library - from 04/03/2024 to 07/03/2024: Become a Formula 1 driver and test your skills on the world's most prestigious racing circuits. Compete against other drivers on the same circuits and try to set the fastest lap time. Thrills and excitement are guaranteed. Open to all, admission free All information here
  • Pixel Art - Multimedia Library - 07/03/2024 – 10am: A workshop for those that love playing video games, or creating their own. For an hour and a half, hands will be busy gluing, cutting, and colouring as minds race and become amazed with the result, as a character appears before their very eyes, as if lifted from the screen.   • "Battle of the Generations" - Multimedia Library - 08/03/2024 – 7pm: "In my day, we played the Gamecube and it was just fine!" We're living in an era when both parents and children have experienced video games at the same age. The methods have changed, but the spirit of competition remains the same.
