To mark World Environment Day on 5 June, the Principality of Monaco is organising a series of awareness-raising initiatives aimed at protecting our land and oceans.
Theme 2024: Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience
Held each year on 5 June, this United Nations initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage action to protect our environment.
The Société Monégasque d'Assainissement (SMA), the Department of the Environment, the Beyond Plastic Med (BeMed) Association of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (FPA2), the Monegasque Association for the Protection of Nature (AMPN), and the Secretariats of the Pelagos and Ramoge Agreements are delighted to be able to share this day with you on the Esplanade du Larvotto !
