Understanding the process
Staff recruitment by the Monegasque Administration is undertaken either by ministerial decrees announcing the opening of a competition or recruitment notices stating the nature and characteristics of the posts to be filled and the conditions to be met by candidates.
These decrees and notices are published in the "Journal de Monaco".
However, you can submit an unsolicited job application for posts in the Monegasque Administration; you can also make an on-line application for temporary covering posts (short-term assignments, from a few days to several months, to replace Government officials or civil servants).
Your attention is drawn to the fact that, for jobs in the Civil Service, priority is given to Monegasque nationals.
Your application must include the following documents:
- A letter of motivation
- An up-to-date CV
- Copies of qualifications and references
- For temporary covering posts: a valid copy of your residence permit, ID card or passport
