The Monegasque International Volunteer Programme (VIM) was established in 2007 to provide young adults with the opportunity to gain international work experience and contribute to the Prince's Government development cooperation strategy.

Principle

This volunteer programme is aimed at young people who wish to gain professional experience in the humanitarian or international solidarity sectors.

To be eligible, applicants must be aged between 21 and 35, have a higher education or technical qualification and have at least one year's professional experience (internship, employment, or other relevant experience).

Every year, around ten VIMs work on development projects supported by the Prince's Government, through its Department of International Cooperation (DCI), to meet specific needs identified by partners in the field.

Assignments last for one year and can be extended twice (up to a maximum of three years).

The Department of International Cooperation has assigned more than 60 volunteers to the field since the programme was launched in 2007.

The application process

Each VIM assignment is subject to a call for applications as published in the Journal Officiel de Monaco. Please check this platform regularly.

You're welcome to send a speculative application to express your interest.
