Principle

The Prince’s Government has indicated that the French programme, Volunteer for Work Experience in Europe Programme (VIE) is now open to candidates of monegasque nationality.

The VIE offers young people between the ages of 18 and 28 the opportunity to pursue a professional project abroad for a flexible period of time ranging from 6 to 24 months.

During this project, the volunteer holds a public sector position, as they are placed under the authority of the French embassy in the country to which they are posted. Depending on the assignment, which is determined by the candidate's profile, the volunteer will receive a monthly allowance that varies according to the host country, plus travel expenses and social security coverage.
