Principle

The Prince’s Government has indicated that the French programme, Volunteer for Work Experience in Europe Programme (VIE) is now open to candidates of monegasque nationality.

The VIE offers young people between the ages of 18 and 28 the opportunity to pursue a professional project abroad for a flexible period of time ranging from 6 to 24 months.

During this project, the volunteer holds a public sector position, as they are placed under the authority of the French embassy in the country to which they are posted. The background of the candidate will determine the selection of the professional project. The volunteer will be paid an allowance that can vary from €1200 to €3200 per month depending on the project, in addition to the payment of any relocation expenses and of social welfare benefits.
