The Variety Theatre is a 350-seat auditorium made available primarily to Monegasque cultural associations.
It hosts numerous cultural events in the fields of theatre, dance, music and cinema, as well as conferences, meetings and symposia.
Conditions of use
All requests for provisional bookings of the auditorium must be submitted in writing, either by post or by email, addressed to the Cultural Facilities Manager at the Rainier III Auditorium, boulevard Louis II, 98000 Monaco or email@example.com - and accompanied by an Application for Use Form, copies of which can be collected from the User Relations Manager - Contact: (+377) 93 10 84 27/00 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Requests will be reviewed by a committee and considered according to various criteria laid down by the Department of Cultural Affairs, in conjunction with the cultural facilities technical team.
The purpose of this review is to check the compatibility of:
- The date and times with events which have already been scheduled (the programmes of institutions and cultural associations, events organised by government departments and similar entities, school projects); constraints associated with maintenance of the premises and facilities, setup and dismantling periods, and the workload of the technical teams
- The nature of the event with regard to the features of the auditorium (performance, meeting, conference, exhibition)
Once the request has been approved, a provisional booking will be made. This will be definitively confirmed five weeks in advance of the event (three months in the case of paid bookings), after the technical requirements have been validated, enabling the contract for use to be signed.
