Understanding the process
The plot plan (determined boundary request) identifies the boundary between private and public areas of a property. It is drafted to a scale of 1:200 and can be obtained for a fee, which is calculated according to the surface area of the plan.
The owner, a natural person, or their representative in the case of a legal entity (in the case of joint ownership of a building, the managing agent acting as a representative and on behalf of the joint owners) must send a request by post to the Director of the Department of Forward Studies, Urban Planning and Mobility.
You must provide:
- An extract from the relevant property deed
- A photocopy of an identity card (for individuals)
- An extract from the Trade and Industry Directory (for legal entities)
- The minutes from the general meeting at which the joint owners agreed to establish a set of joint ownership regulations for requests made by a property management agent and the minutes that confirm the appointment of the managing agent
Requests for plot plans must be sent by post, together with the necessary documents, to the Department of Forward Studies, Urban Planning and Mobility.
