Understanding the process
Joint ownership can be defined as any situation where the ownership of a building is shared between two or more natural or legal persons, with each owner's share comprising of a private unit and a share of the common area.
A joint ownership arrangement must be established before any division of ownership of the building. If the joint owners wish to employ paid staff, they must register with Monaco Statistics after having registered the joint ownership arrangement with the Mortgages Division of the Department of Tax Services.
If you wish to recruit staff recruit staff you must make an appointment with the Department of Labour in order to establish an employer file and to register with social welfare agencies.
