If you have lost an object in Monaco and you have not found it at the place of loss, you can contact or go to the Bureau des Objets Trouvés after a few days.

Understanding the process

If you have lost something in Monaco, first of all, retrace your steps to see if you can find it.

If you have lost an ID document in Monaco, you should make a declaration that it has been lost or stolen to Police Department.

If you cannot find the item, wait for a few days before going to the Lost Property Office.

If you have lost something in the street: you should go to the nearest Police station or the Lost Property Office
If you have lost something on the bus: contact Monaco Bus Company (+377 97 70 22 22) first, then the Lost Property Office
If you have lost something on a train at the railway station: contact the station manager (+33 4 89 24 72 68)
If you have lost something in a private establishment (such as a hotel or private gallery): contact the reception of the establishment

If your name is on the item, you can:
- Make a request by email ("Contact us" at the bottom of the page)
- Call the Lost Property Office
If your address is on the item, you will automatically be sent a message informing you that it has been handed in
If your name is not on the item, you can:
