How to apply for a subsidy for buying a clean energy vehicle

A subsidy may be granted for the purchase of an electric or hybrid electric vehicle with CO₂ emissions of ≤ 110g :

• New, with the exception of vehicles previously registered as demonstration vehicles for less than a year by a dealer. Proof must be provided (copy of original registration certificate)
• Used vehicle if the vehicle is less than 6 months old or with mileage of less than 6,000 km for a four-wheeled vehicle or 2,000 km for a two-wheeled vehicle, tricycle or quadricycle
• Be registered in Monaco (or owned by a Monegasque resident, as concerns bicycles with a maximum power of 250 W)
• Purchased within a maximum period of 6 months (the date of the invoice serving as proof)

Make sure that you have:

• If the declarant is not the beneficiary of the grant: the declarant must first upload a declaration on honor, have it signed by the beneficiary of the grant and attach it to the application, at step 6
• A copy of the vehicle registration certificate
• For demonstration vehicles, a copy of the original registration certificate of the vehicle
• For used vehicles with mileage of less than 6,000 km or 2,000 km, provide proof of mileage (technical inspection)
• A copy of the invoice for the vehicle, with a domicile in Monaco for bicycles
• A copy of the vehicle order form
• Your full bank accounts details (RIB) in the name of the person requesting the subsidy
• For electric vehicles, proof of the insured value of the battery or, where appropriate, a copy of the lease agreement and payment schedule
• In the case of a long-term lease, for all vehicles, a copy of the lease agreement and payment schedule for the vehicle, and for the battery if the vehicle is electric
• For unregistered bicycles (with a maximum power of 250W), proof of residency in Monaco (a copy of your residence permit, Monegasque identity card or, for companies, an extract from the RCI)
