Understanding the process
Disabled parking permits are issued to any person registered as disabled where their degree of disability is at least 80%, provided that their disability significantly reduces their capacity to walk independently or requires that they are accompanied by another person when travelling.
Parking permits allow holders and those accompanying them to use parking spaces which have been reserved and made available for this purpose. Under the same conditions, it also allows holders to take advantage of other provisions relating to traffic movement and parking which may be put in place for persons with disabilities by the relevant authorities.
