Understanding the process
The validity period of the professional licence is two years. When it expires, you can request renewal.
The validity of the professional licence automatically ceases when the holder reaches the age of seventy or if the permit is withdrawn due to the holder's permanent incapacity to drive.
The professional licence must be returned to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office in the event of the termination or suspension of the business activity.
Suspension of the driving licence or the prohibition of driving in Monaco will lead to the suspension of validity of the professional licence for the duration of these administrative measures.
There is a fee associated with this service - Please see
