Understanding the process
The TST (Medical and Land Transport) professional card enables the holder to drive ambulances on condition that he or she already holds a valid category B driving licence and is physically fit to drive.
The medical and land transport card is valid for five years, unless specified otherwise on the medical certificate of fitness to drive issued by the doctor consulted, who must be approved in the Principality of Monaco to conduct medical examinations for fitness to drive land motor vehicles.

Code P9A request for renewal of a medical and land transport card must be sent to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office using the appropriate form, duly completed and signed on the original.

A request for renewal of a medical and land transport card must be accompanied by the following documents:
- A copy of a valid ID document
- A recent coloured ID photo, dated of less than 6 months, on a light background, frontal view, bareheaded, of size 35x45, not scanned
- A medical certificate dated within the past 3 months, issued by a doctor in the Principality of Monaco who is authorised to conduct medical examinations to determine fitness to drive a land vehicle, in accordance with the model provided for that purpose

- Collected from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office
- A copy of both sides of a valid driving licence of Category B
- Copy of a professionnal card or work permit delivered by the Service of Employment
- The payment, to be made by cash, cheque or postal order (clearable in Monaco or France), made out to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office and Visa or Mastercard bank cards only, in accordance with the current fee schedule
Any administrative procedure undertaken at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office by a third party must be accompanied by a mandate signed by the principal and by supporting documents showing proof of these persons' identities.
However, it does not allow the representative to sign the documents in place of the principal.
To submit your application, you must first make an appointment with an agent of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office.

The staff of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office will be waiting for you at the time of the appointment; you should bring with you the documents listed in steps 1 and 2 and your preferred means of payment.

The card, will be sent directly by post, with acknowledgement of receipt, to the address stated on the form.
On expiry, the medical and land transport card may be renewed, on request to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office, by presenting the same documents as for the initial application and under the same conditions.
