NEWS RELEASE

To offer the best possible welcome to the many, many spectators coming to watch the 8th and 9th Monaco E-Prix (3 and 4 May 2025) and the 82nd Monaco Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix (22 to 25 May 2025), the Principality is making use of Parking des Salines: a car park with the capacity to support large events offering very attractive rates. Thanks to its location, Parking des Salines will help to prevent heavy traffic in the city centre while offering fast, easy access to the circuit via a free shuttle bus or a signposted pedestrian route.

Convenient, easily accessible and time-saving

By choosing Parking des Salines, at the western entrance to Monaco, drivers will not need to enter the city and will thus avoid the associated traffic on arrival and when leaving. It’s definitely convenient – particularly since those who use the car park will then be able to reach the circuit quickly and easily in two different ways:

  • By taking a circuit shuttle being organised especially for these events by the Monegasque Bus Company (CAM) and offering free return journeys on presentation of your parking ticket (keep it safe!) or RésaWeb* QR code (see below). Passengers will be dropped off and picked up on Avenue Albert II in the Fontvieille district, just a five-minute walk – via lifts, escalators and moving walkways – from the circuit. This option, which is recommended for people with reduced mobility, will of course be signposted
  • By following a pedestrian route, which includes lifts. This will also be signposted from the car park to the circuit. Going via the Galerie des Salines, Promenade Honoré II, Place du Canton and Place d’Armes, the walk will take just 16 minutes

Special rates

On motorsport event days, i.e. Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May (8th and 9th Monaco E-Prix), then Thursday 22, Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May 2025 (82nd Monaco TAG Heuer Formula 1 Grand Prix), Parking des Salines will be offering a special rate of €10 per day (for all entries between 6 am and 6 pm).

This compares to daily rates of between €24 (on 3, 4, 22 and 23 May) and €30 (24 and 25 May) in the city-centre car parks, meaning that those who choose Parking des Salines can save between 58% and 67% on parking charges, depending on the day.

Online booking service

With a large capacity of 1,790 spaces, Parking des Salines is already offering the opportunity to book a parking space online via the RésaWeb service, which can be accessed by clicking on the button below.

As noted above, those who book a parking space in advance can also take advantage of the free circuit shuttle by showing the QR code generated when they made their booking.
