Mosquito control campaign in Monaco-Ville during the nights of Monday 2 to Tuesday 3 September, and Thursday 5 to Friday 6 September, between 2-4 am.

The Government has been informed of a suspected case of dengue fever in a person residing in the neighbouring Department of France with professional ties in Monaco.

As a precaution, the Department of Health Affairs has commissioned the Entente Interdépartementale de Démoustication (EID) Méditerranée to conduct a mosquito control campaign.

This will take place in Monaco-Ville during the night of Monday 2 to Tuesday 3 September, and during the night of Thursday 5 to Friday 6 September, between 2–4 am.

Monaco-Ville residents are asked to close their windows both of these nights and avoid travel on foot on the Rocher between 2–4 am. Residents of the Principality are also asked to avoid the Rocher during this time.

The mosquito control products used are not toxic to human health but can cause temporary discomfort and irritation.
