Reminder: Don't miss out school enrolments 2025 – 2026

Online enrolment open for the 2025-2026 school year for the Principality’s state and private primary and secondary schools under contract.

Enrolment is possible using a computer, tablet or smartphone, seven days a week, 24 hours a day in the Education section of the MonGuichet.mc portal.

Parents and guardians who cannot or do not wish to enrol children online can fill out a printed enrolment form by contacting the Department of Education, Youth and Sport (DENJS) or the establishment of their choice.

All children who are 3 years old or will turn 3 during the first term of the school year, and who are Monegasque nationals or/and resident in the Principality of Monaco, are eligible for enrolment in a state or private school under contract. In the case of pupils who do not fall into these categories, a request for dispensation must be submitted to the Department of Education, Youth and Sport.

  • Enrolment at public schools opens on Monday 6 January and runs until Friday 21 March 2025 inclusive
  • Enrolment at private schools under contract opens on Monday 13 January and runs until Friday 28 March 2025 inclusive

Pupils who are Monegasque nationals and/or resident in the Principality, and pupils with a dispensation who are already enrolled in enrolled in 3ème (Year 10) in a Monegasque state school, are eligible for enrolment. In the case of pupils who do not fall into these categories, a request for dispensation must be submitted to the Department of Education, Youth and Sport.

  • Enrolment at Collège Charles III opens on Thursday 1 May 2025 and runs until Friday 20 June 2025 inclusive
  • Enrolment at Lycée Albert I and Lycée Rainier III opens on Monday 13 January to Friday 20 June 2025 inclusive
  • Enrolment at Lycée François d’Assise–Nicolas Barré opens on Monday 13 January and runs until Monday 2 June 2025 inclusive

Enrolment opens on Wednesday 15 January and runs until Wednesday 2 April 2025 inclusive. (first session). 

  • BTS Support aux Activités Managériales (SAM) or BTS Comptabilité et Gestion (CG) or Diplôme de Comptabilité et Gestion (DCG): More information is available here
  • BTS Management en Hôtellerie-Restauration (MHR) or Access Course (MAN): More information is available here

Online specially adapted timetable enrolment opens on Monday 17 March and runs until Thursday 15 May 2025 inclusive.

A dispensation request is necessary in the following cases:

  • Place of residence: for any enrolment request for a person who resides outside the Principality and who is not a Monegasque national
  • Sector: for any enrolment request for a primary school other than the one found in the area where the person resides (see the school map)
  • Age: for the enrolment of any child whose age does not correspond to the class level requested (in particular for early enrolment requests for nursery school)

Dispensation requests can be submitted between 1 January and 1 May 2025 inclusive, with the exception of requests concerning place of residence, which can be submitted from 1 January to 15 May 2025 inclusive.

Please submit all dispensation requests to the DENJS.
