NEWS RELEASE

The Prince’s Government would like to draw attention to the fact that some particularly entertaining events can draw in large numbers of vehicles that are likely to cause serious disruption to public order.

These often unplanned gatherings of sports cars may lead to proven road traffic offences being committed, and to inappropriate and dangerous behaviour.

The Prince’s Government is determined to curb such incidents and to take more effective action against those responsible for occasional disruption, in order to ensure peace and public safety for residents of the Principality.

As such, in line with measures adopted for previous events, the period of immobilisation for offending vehicles will be increased during the following event:

  • Top Marques Monaco supercar show 2024 – from 5 to 9 June 2024

In the event of a violation of the Highway Code, vehicles will be immediately impounded and kept for 120 hours.

See the regulation.
