To occupy a section of the public highway, you must obtain prior permission from the Integrated Mobility Management Centre (CIGM) at least eight days in advance, except for areas with road markings, for which permission should be sought from the City hall or the Marine and Airport Police Division for the Port Hercule zone.
Understanding the process
If you would like to:
- Occupy part of the public highway (for example for removals, a crane or deliveries) for a fixed period, outside the marked areas (such as traffic lanes or the pavement), you should contact the Integrated Mobility Management Centre (CIGM) at the Department of Urban Amenities, using the form available on this page
- The request must be made at least eight working days before you need to occupy the public highway
- To occupy designated parking spaces (outside of the Port Hercule zone), you must contact the City Hall. All the information concerning this process can be found here
- To occupy any of the areas listed below, please contact the Marine and Airport Police Division:
- The central jetty of the port
- The quai Louis II
- The quai Lucciana
- The quai des Hirondelles
- The quai Rainier 1er
To obtain the application form for occupying a part of the public highway (for example for removals, a crane or deliveries) for a fixed period, outside the marked areas (such as traffic lanes or the pavement), you can either:

- Or collect it from the Department of Urban Amenities
The completed form must be sent to the Department of Urban Amenities at least eight working days before the scheduled date of occupation.
