On Wednesday 26 March 2025, the offices of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services (DASO), located at 23 avenue Albert II, will be exceptionally closed to the public due to the department’s relocation.
From 2 April, the department will receive visitors at its new, permanent home situated at 5 Promenade Honoré II - Hall A (4th floor).
In the interim period, from 27 March to 1 April inclusive, both sites will be temporarily open to the public. Please call 98.98.41.00 to find out which DASO offices you should visit, depending on the nature of your query.
The person granted disabled status, of Monegasque nationality or who have been resident in the Principality for at least three consecutive years, may be eligible for means-tested housing allowance.
Understanding the process
It is allocated to the tenant of self-contained accommodation or the spouse of a tenant.
The amount of the allowance takes into account any other benefits received for the same purpose.
To apply for the housing allowance for people with disabled status, you should contact the Financial Social Support Office of the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services and submit the form to be completed and the supporting documents.
