How to make a sworn statement and sign it electronically using MConnect

1. Install your digital identity on your mobile phone - Click here to find out more 
2. Access your desired online service by clicking "Start" or "Log in using MConnect" (depending on the service)
3. Once you’re on the MConnect portal, enter your mobile number 
4. You will receive a notification on the MConnect Mobile app. Then enter the app pass code
5. You have now verified your identity and can access your desired online service

To make a new sworn statement:

• Choose the language and category for the statement
• Choose whether you want to use an existing template for your sworn statement or create your own statement
• Enter the subject, sender, message and location
• View the preview

• To sign your sworn statement, you need to click the "Sign statement" button

You can also access your list of statements and view previous sworn statements from the homepage.

You will be given the required card reader when you are issued with the Monegasque identity card or residence permit on which you have activated the digital identity. 

To verify your identity from your computer, you will need: 

• Your Monegasque identity card or residence permit
• The five-digit PIN you chose when you activated your digital identity
• The card reader (which you were given when you collected your card) or a compatible reader
• A computer on which the Smart Card Managercard reader software has been installed (installation takes just a few seconds). It must be installed to enable your PC to read your card

Then:  

1. Connect your card reader to a USB port and insert the card
2. Access your desired online service and log in using MConnect to verify your identity
3. If necessary, tick the box that says "I agree to share the following information: Birth name, first names, Preferred name, date of birth, Type, hour of birth, place of birth"
4. Enter your PIN (the one you chose when you activated your identity)

To make a new sworn statement:

• Choose the language and category for the statement
• Choose whether you want to use an existing template for your sworn statement or create your own statement
• Enter the subject, sender, message and location
• View the preview

• To sign your sworn statement, you will need your identity card or residence permit and the card reader you were given when the card or permit was issued
• Once you have entered your PIN, your identity is verified and you can download the statement
