A free transport service is available, 7 days a week, for specified beaches, for people with disabilities and elderly people with reduced mobility who reside in the Principality.
Understanding the process
Need must be medically recognised, either by the Doctor from the Monaco Gerontology Coordination Centre or the Medical Inspector from the Department of Social Welfare and Social Service.
The service is available:
- From Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm outside school periods
- From Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm during school periods
Users of the service will be collected from their home to go to any location in the territory of Monaco or the four neighbouring towns, and will then be returned to their home.
To use this service, you should contact the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services to obtain a travel pass.
A travel card will be issued, following confirmation from one of the doctors mentioned above, to persons who have completed an information sheet and have sent an ID photo to this same department.
Once you have your travel pass, you can book a trip by phoning the following number the day before you wish to travel:
(+377) 97.98.01.30
Monday to Friday from 9 am to noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm
