Understanding the process
Permission from the school must be sought for any special absence.
Depending on your request, you must provide these supporting documents, such as (non-exhaustive list):
- A club certificate for absences to take part in sporting activities
- A certificate issued by a doctor in the event of absence for medical reasons
To get this form you can either:

- Or collect it from the secretariat at your child’s school
The form signed by both parents or holders of parental authority, together with any supplementary documents, must be submitted to the school at least ten working days before the beginning of the planned period of absence.
The head of the school will review the request, and inform you of the response.

The request, together with any additional documents, if applicable, should be sent to the school to arrive at least ten days before the start of the planned period of absence.
You will be sent acknowledgement of registration by email.
