The rights and obligations of the "contrat habitation-capitalisation" are determined by the personal, family, and financial situation of the beneficiary and any change of situation must therefore be declared.

- The adoption of a child
- The death of the title holder or a member of his or her family
- A change in your professional situation
- Payment of various new social benefits (such as family allowances and social benefits)
- A change in your banking facilities
- Marriage
