Residents who are neither owners nor tenants must provide a certificate of free accommodation as proof of your residence in Monaco.
The Technical Committee on Health, Safety and Environmental Protection bases its decision to grant an accommodation certificate upon assessment of the application and if the accommodation is deemed occupied.
The form, which consists of two pages, must be completed and signed by the tenant when an application is made:
- For a first residence permit
- Renewal of residence permit
- A change in your circumstances (address, marital status)
- A duplicate residence permit (in the event of loss or theft)
- A long-stay visa (type D) for Monaco from a French Embassy
